The Montana Renewable Energy Association (MREA) and the Montana Energy Office (MEO) co-hosted a virtual presentation on solar powered electric transportation (Dec 2021). The presentation begins with a discussion of the Roadmap report analyzing solar-powered transportation options in Montana. Guest speakers follow, including Brian Ross with the Great Plains Institute discussing how to pair light-duty electric vehicles with solar power in Minnesota, as well as Colin Woodrow and Jen Sweten with Missoula’s Mountain Line Transit describing their experience with electric bus deployment and opportunities for integrating solar.
